Sara’s incredible journey
What a privilege it is to meet people like Sara through my work. Sara bravely told me her journey from discovering she had leukaemia, to very nearly dying during her treatment to her incredible recovery. This was a commission for charity Exeter Leukaemia Fund for their latest fundraising campaign to raise money for a special family room where patients can spend time alone with their families during the most difficult stages of their treatment. Sara eloquently explains what it would have meant for her and her partner Chris if such a room had existed when she was in hospital.
